Getting a strong bond
- Clean the surface with alcohol or a mild cleaner to remove dust and grease.
- Let it dry completely.
- Peel the liner without touching the adhesive.
- Place the tag and press firmly across the whole surface for a few seconds.
- Avoid heavy handling for the first day while the adhesive builds full strength.

Where to place a self-adhesive tag
- On a flat, smooth area that stays visible but isn't handled constantly.
- On laptops: the underside or the lid, away from vents and rubber feet.
- On monitors and printers: the back or side panel.
- In the same position on every item of a type, so auditors know where to look.
- Away from heat sources and areas cleaned with strong solvents.

Tag sizes
Available in 39 x 13 mm (standard and recommended), 45 x 15 mm, 50 x 20 mm, 50 x 30 mm, 60 x 30 mm, 75 x 40 mm, 80 x 50 mm and 100 x 50 mm. We recommend 39 x 13 mm for most assets and a larger size where the tag carries a big logo or is scanned from a distance.
